Another beginning

And so it begins. Another season of Lent is upon us. This year the vegan is similar, but the intentional spirituality is, well, more intentional. I'm pretty excited, but a little nervous.

We celebrated Fat Tuesday in style pancakes and bacon and butter and coffee. Then we partook in a beer launch party by my favorite knife store. It sounds strange, but it was delicious. The knife store owner wanted a signature beer, so he collaborated with a local brewery and produced the Tongue Cutter IPA. It was pretty darn delicious.

I have an epic smoothy and some toast for breakfast, gonna ease into the vegan with as much variety and as much volume of vegetables I can. I've also acquired a book on wild fermentation, and it has vegan recipes which make me excited to try and experiment.
