Sadly its snowing outside. Don't get me wrong, I love the snow, but when I have to walk to school in deep snow wearing Vans its not such a nice thing. But I suppose I will live. I got my birthday package from my parents and siblings yesterday. It was filled with mail, money, and a bunt pan. Now you might be wondering how a bunt pan got mailed all the way from Sweet Home Kamloops to Cowtown, and it is quite simple. The pan is made of Silicone. Apparently Tupperware is on the cutting edge of Kitchen Technology and has developed a flexable pan of sorts. Its quite a curious feeling when you can move the sides of what appears to be a solid and sturdy pan. I have yet to use it, but when I do I will surely write about it. Last night I played for this smallish College and Career Gathering at Foothills Alliance Chruch. Smallish meaning 12 people showed up. This is double how many people were in the band, so there were 18 there, and 6 in the band. It was slightly discouraging, but it was a wonderful time anyways. I also got a free dinner, and that was keen. I am in the midst of writing a paper for my Ethics class, and it is one of the hardest papers I have written yet. For one I have to think on my own, and not research what other people thought, and another its Philosophy so of course its gonna be difficult. Its not too enjoyable, but I am pretty sure I am learning stuff, so thats always good at college. This snow is kinda depressing. Since I live downtown its not like the snow gets to fall and then look all nice and stuff, the snow falls and then is run over by cars so it gets a nice brown tint to it, therefore not nice looking but sadly depressing. I am reminded of a time when I lived in a house where the snow was great and there were large trees and mountians, I miss the mountians. I think I miss them even more being here than in Regina. In Regina there was nothing to look at so you just delt with it. Here I can see the mountians on a good day, and realize that I cant get too them without a great deal of preperation. Sadly that is the case, but I get to go home in a few weeks time for the Holidays, so that should be pretty nifty, I am definetly looking forward to no papers for a couple of weeks. Sadly there are many things to do and happen before such a time of rest is allowed. Speaking of rest I need to work on my paper some more. Peace and Love.
