It snowed here today and I was happy and then I went to class and it sucked. I observed my first press conference today. There were cameras and reporters and everything, It was splendid. Then I got on TV which made my day. Why a press conference at the little but powerful CBC? Well I will tell you. Today was a day that was important for a number of reasons. First the school was offically sold to Western Christian College and second there was a lease signed in Calgary for the rental of living and studying space. I was sad to see the campus that I have come to grow and love being sold to an institution that I dont really know anything about. Well thats in the past I guess. And the whole TV thing that was rad. My friend Ian and I were standing against the wall outside of the chapel watching the proceedings and then the camera men filmed us and lo and behold we were put on TV. Seeing as we dident get the local news channel from the TV which we are supposed to watch News and Sports from we broke the rules and watched it on a TV in one of the class rooms. What a gradous occasion. And now Iam wasting time due to the fact that I have a large history of religions text book calling my name and I dont want to read. I can justify this by saying that I have already done reading tonight, and I cleaned my room and stuck pictures on my walls, this act of beautifying my room comes as no suprise to me due to the upcoming event known as "Open Dorms" is this Sunday and It would be nice to show the wim-folk a nice and clean room. And Iam out of big words. Peace.

Hey Hey My My. Today is spiritual emphasis week, well today and tomorrow are spiritual emphasis week. Meaning that there are no classes and that there is a speaker from Toronto here. He is doing a great job and I am really enjoying it so far. I got a quote today on my camera and apparently my camera needs an overhaul as well as the lens. I decided that it wasent worth it to fix the lens but the body of the camera is worth alot more in than 120 bucks so that is what I will end up paying for the total overhaul of my baby. It was mildly shocking to say the least but after thinking about it I was reminded by myself that it will be worth it to have a well working camera for the future. If you would like to contribute to the fix the camera fund you can e-mail me at duddy_k@hotmail.com and I will give you instructions on how to send me donations. I think I will go and read. Peace.

Took the camera, or as Ian likes to call it Kamera, which is a great name, to the shop to get fixed and they told me that it might be gone one month. It was a shock and I repeated this with a loud voice and I think I shocked the poor woman at the counter. I was in a state of shock for a while seeing as I will have to endure non quality photography for a while. I guess it will teach me some patience and allow the creative juices to start flowing and thus when I get the Kamera back I will have so many things to go and try. It will be a long month. I am tired and sick and in need of a warm bed. And seeing as it is like minus fifty billion here I will go and crawl under my sheets and then move my feet around to warm up the sheets and then fall into a hopefully dreamfilled sleep. Blessings on you.

So my camera broke yesterday and I am in a state of mourning. I was fiddleing around with the flash when it, Sara (may camera) stopped working and I was left wondering what I am supposed to do. To express your sympthathies send me an e-mail at duddy_k@hotmail.com. You can also send me money at Canadian Bible College. Anyways I will go and and drown my sorrows in a pint, a pint of Apple juice and then read about ancient Judism. Peace

Look at me updateing this after only one day. It was as cold today as it was yesterday. It was mentioned after starting to drive home from the soccer game that it you know its cold when there is ice on the inside of the windows. The soccer game was great, well the 5 minutes at the end of the game was good. There was much pushing and shoving but nothing to out of control and the CBC Rise finally came out on top after a string of goals which brought the moral of the team up a couple of notches. Now seeing as I am tired and wanting to sleep I will hopefully go to bed soon. Good Night Sweet Friends.

Hello again from the minus fifty bijillion below zero temperature area of Canada. It really is cold here. Colder than ten cold things if I might say so. I went to a place called St. Micheals retreat center for a retreat today with other leaders from school. It was quality. The food was even quality, something that the schools food lacks is quality. It is food and that is where is ends, there is only sustenence and nothing else. Happenings since I have last updated this thingy have included buying an Adventures in Oddessy day by day calender from the bookstore here for 50% off due to the fact that it is a calender and will soon be out of date, in a year. I also watched and recorded on film, not moving film but the kind of the 35mm variety, basketball that was going on at my school over the weekend with the guys and girls varsity teams playing. It was a good time and I learned a new way to hold my camera, I feel like such a nerd for shareing that. And other than that I have done nothing but read and think about all the stuff that I need to get done this semester before Youth Conference. It will be upon us quickly. And Josh I got your registration in already, I hand delivered it, hows that for service. And now seeing as it is late and I am hungry I think I will go and fill that void with a substance called KD or some like to call it the food of champions, or at least College students who are poor, like myself. And to you my friends, Carpe Diem, Seize the Day.

Friends, Family, Friends of the Family, Family Friends, Friends of whomever in general. I, Tim Houghton, am back in business. I arrived early afternoonish yesterday and found myself already tired and wanting to sleep. I then met up with friends and had dinner and then went and saw a movie called "Stealing Harvard" with Jason Lee and Tom Green. It had some to be desired, but on the whole it had some funny parts. I then proceeded to go over to one Colter Diehls House and watch "Boondock Saints" which is one of the better movies I have seen in recent months. Today I awoke feeling tired and a bit stressed due to the condition known as "Poor Studentites". However after regestering and finding that I actually had enough money to go to school and will not have to sell off my first born, I dont have any to sell anyways, I was elated to find that some of this mysterious substence called money remained in my account. It warmed my heart, but only for about 2.5 seconds until I realized that there was a force out there called Textbooks which was sure to deplete the account of all remaining funds and thus rendering this student back in the state previously stated. Anyways, I had a great Christmas, saw family, friends, family friends and friends of the family. It was a joyus and restful time. I think since I have already wasted all the rest time built up over the break by staying up too late last night I will adjourne to my room and nap, as is custom here during the middle of the afternoon and then I will have dins and wait until the rest of the people that I know here get back and then dream about tomorrow and such like that. Blessings on you.
